Foster Parents Wanted
Foster parents are needed for our cats, kittens, dogs or puppies.
Foster parents provide space, food, and love for their foster pets. The AVHS shelter will provide the foster with all the other supplies, medications and equipment needed throughout their foster experience.

Complete an online Foster Volunteer Application.

Submit the AVHS Volunteer Driver Form.

Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted by phone or email when the appropriate animal is ready for fostering.

Fosters must watch the online volunteer orientation video and submit the accompanying quiz.

A copy of the front & back of your driver’s license

A copy of driver’s insurance card

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to apply as a foster.
