Kane’s Story

Kane was a young labrador retriever mix running the streets. He endured a case of skin allergy that had gone untreated. He was suffering and anxious causing him to be jumpy. AVHS was able to save this sweet boy by giving him the medical care and nourishment he needed. He responded beautifully and AVHS staff could see his gentle spirit. His new family fell in love with him, giving him the chance to heal - physically and emotionally. He was given a second chance and he’s spending every day - with his new family, who are so happy that he is furrever theirs. As a puppy, his new adopters are having to do a lot of training but thankful that they connected with their forever dog.
