A sweet dog, Lucy, came to the AVHS shelter wandering the streets of Auburn and was quite sick with parvo. Parvo can be quite deadly for dogs, but the vet services staff acted quickly to save her life. She went to a foster and received extraordinary care. She recovered and was adopted. Her new family fell in love with her and gave her a second chance. Her adopters stated that “Lucy is an absolute joy! She is so sweet and so full of energy! “
