Your donation helps animals like Lolly!

A puppy, Lolly, came to the AVHS shelter from a rescue group and required surgery to fix an injured leg. The surgery was done at a partnering specialty veterinarian. It was expensive. Fortunately, we had reserve funds from our extraordinary medical fund to cover the cost. Those funds are raised by donors like you as well as supporters who bought items sold at the AVHS Thrift Store & More.

 Did you know that the AVHS Thrift Store & More raised $54,664 last year by selling 5,328 items for the Extraordinary Medical Fund? That helps a lot of animals with ACL repairs, mass removals, bone fractures, femoral fractures, eye repair, or limb amputation.

 Donors like YOU helped raise the funds to pay for special surgeries. Lolly has since been adopted and loves to cuddle with her new family.
