IT ALL STARTED WHEN ELVIS ARRIVED…
Elvis came to AVHS as a stray because he had a possible broken pelvis and a broken leg caused by unknown trauma. The medical staff took X-rays to determine the extent of his injuries. He had fractures in several places and needed kennel rest with limited movement.
The medical staff managed his care along with his foster family. He healed and was healthy and walking normally. Please help us continue to help animals like Elvis by donating today!

It all started when PERSIE Arrived…
Persie, a 5-year-old female, came to the AVHS animal shelter with severe skin allergies. She was highlighter pink in color. Through no fault of her own, she was adopted and brought back several times. Our awesome medical team evaluated her medical condition and did extensive tests. It was determined that she required special medication for the rest of her life and a strict diet. Following those guidelines, she is a sweet and loving dog, that loves to cuddle. She loves to play tug-of-war and is very well-mannered.
Thankfully, due to donors like YOU, AVHS had the necessary staff and tools to monitor her skin allergies. She was in foster to heal and was soon adopted.
