GIRL SCOUT BADGE PROGRAM
Program launched in May, 2016
Designed for Girl Scouts at every Level
Interested scout troops are provided a packet of various activities teaching about pet ownership.
These activities are completed during regular troop meetings.
We have unique packets for Daisy, Brownie, Junior, and Cadette/Senior levels.
Next, the troop will come in for a tour of the AVHS Shelter and receive their badges.
The cost of the program is only $10 per person. However, thanks to our sponsors, the program has been subsidized, and each scout only needs to pay $5. Additional scholarship opportunities are also available if needed.
Tours of our shelter work best in small groups because our shelter is small. We aim to keep tours no larger than ten people. If you have a larger troop, we can schedule multiple tours.
Please complete a Visitation Waiver (link below) prior to our visits to AVHS.
Tours are offered monthly.
Patches will be issued after the AVHS tour.
