AVHS Public Veterinary Assistance Fund is to provide ONE TIME financial assistance not to exceed $500 to income-qualified residents of the City of Auburn who use a Washington State licensed veterinarian from the AVHS VetPartners list for non-routine medical care of their dogs and cats.
The goal is to enrich and maintain the human-animal bond and keep loved pets in their homes and reduce the possibility of unwarranted euthanasia due to the inability of pet owners to fund needed costs for medical care.
The AVHS Public Veterinary Assistance Fund provides assistance for non-routine medical care up to $500. Proof of income qualification and Auburn residency is required before authorizing medical services to AVHS VetPartners.
Please note*** Funding through this program is not available for routine office visits, vaccines, routine diagnostics, or routine spay/neutering services.
The AVHS Public Veterinary Assistance Fund is limited to ONE pet per household and your lifetime.
Once you use the AVHS Public Veterinary Assistance Fund, you will NOT be able to receive assistance again.
The AVHS Public Veterinary Assistance Fund will give preference to animals that are spayed or neutered and licensed in the City of Auburn.
